Position Description Summary

Searching for a motivated and dependable individual who is attentive to daily maintenance necessities of the Racquet Club campus. The hours fluctuate according to seasonal needs, weather events, and are primarily early morning and afternoon shifts. 

Part-Time

Hourly Rate: $13-$15

Essential Functions and Accountabilities

• Perform daily routine maintenance and care of clay tennis and hard court pickleball surfaces.
• Attentive to furniture organization and cleaning, replace ties and windscreens, blow grounds, walkways and courts.
• Punctuality and flexibility, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Reliable transportation and pass drug screen.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with valid driver’s license.
• Neat appearance and grooming to per club standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationships

Reports directly to the Racquet Sports Director and the Club General Manager.

Work Experience

Should have experience in the use of basic hand and outdoor tools including but not limited to shovels, rakes, spreaders. Grounds keeping, irrigation and painting experience is desirable. Training can be provided for specialized clay court responsibilities including, but not limited to algae removal, clay application, net replacement, sprinkler head adjustment, replacement or repair.

Education

High school diploma preferred.

Certification/License

None required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform all duties related to the routine maintenance of the facility and campus including painting, climbing ladders, lifting 50 lb. clay bags, backpack blower, operating golf cart and motorized court roller. Must be prepared for the seasonal climate changes for this area.
