Eagle's landing Country Club is seeking Lifeguards for Summer 2026 employment. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and certified or willing to complete the American Red Cross Lifeguard certification program. Uncertified applicants may apply with a request to receive certification training. Applicants must be strong swimmers and must pass a drug screen.
Job Summary:
The Lifeguard will provide attentive supervision for swimmers’ safety in the pool area and administer first aid or lifesaving techniques when needed.
Seasonal PT & FT hourly positions available
Rate of Pay: $14.00 - $15.00
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures rules and regulations of the swimming pool are followed to maintain a safe swimming environment, contacting emergency personnel when a injury occurs.
- Administers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and uses automated external defibrillator (AED) when needed.
- Monitor pool conditions and report hazards promptly.
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming to uphold club standards.
- Assist with overall presentation of the pool deck and amenities.
- Reliable car or transportation and punctual.
- Work flexible hours and holidays required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to administer or use first aid, CPR, AED, and other lifesaving techniques.
- Ability to remain attentive and responsive during extended periods of supervision.
- Ability to enforce pool swimming regulations and rules.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must possess the following certifications from the Red Cross or other equivalent agency: lifeguard training, CPR, AED, and first aid.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be a skilled swimmer and able to pull weight through the water.
- Must be physically able to rescue someone drowning or injured in the water.
- Perform tasks primarily outdoors in an environment with loud noises.
- Exposure to temperatures ranging from up to 100 degrees fahrenheit.
