Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: The work involves physical labor with the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Also requires the ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled. Rotating shifts may be required.

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of the facility, primarily including locker rooms and restrooms. This position is primarily responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, and responding to all repair needs promptly and professionally. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a luxurious and comfortable environment for Members and Guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs primarily in locker rooms and restrooms.
- Replacing or repairing broken tiles and grout
- Patching drywall and painting
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic plumbing issues, including unclogging drains and repairing leaky faucets or pipes, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical issues, including replacing electrical outlets and switches, changing light ballasts, replacing lightbulbs, etc.
- Repairing or replacing fixtures such as partitions, mirrors, towel dispensers, etc.
- Adjusting or replacing toilet and urinal hardware (flush valves, handles, seats)
- Fixing or reinstalling lockers, hinges, latches, and door handles
- Conduct regular inspections of locker room and restroom areas for cleanliness, safety, and functionality
- Work with custodial and housekeeping teams to report deeper cleaning or sanitation needs
- Respond to service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and inventory of supplies and parts
- Ensure tools and equipment are safely used and stored
- Follow all safety protocols and compliance guidelines related to building codes and sanitation
- Understand and adhere to the job description and department service standards
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protects company assets and investments
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Fluency in Spanish a plus
- Two or more years of prior building/maintenance in a high traffic, luxury facility preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, lighting, carpentry, tiling, and electrical work
- Ability to safely work with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic maintenance equipment
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification a plus.
- Basic computer skills (email, etc.) preferred
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and presentation
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills, including ability to engage professionally with Club Members and associates
