Data Analyst (Temporary Role)

Position Summary

The Data Analyst (Temporary Role) is a short-term position responsible for supporting business operations through data management and analysis across multiple systems, including SAP and related platforms. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency while providing actionable insights to support decision-making. This temporary role will work cross-functionally to troubleshoot data issues, improve processes, and assist in developing efficient data management solutions during the duration of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage master data in SAP, including creation, updates, and deletion.
• Perform data analysis and generate reports, extracts, and other forms of business intelligence.
• Support initiatives to improve data integrity, standardization, and normalization across systems.
• Compare captured data to real business results to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot data issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams and provide actionable recommendations.
• Design, develop, test, and refine processes for data capture, conversion, cleansing, and validation.
• Gather and document business requirements and functional specifications related to configurations and programming.
• Log, monitor, and communicate the status of user requests to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
• Serve as a cross-functional resource for teams working with SAP, EDI, Esker, Product Development, Vertex, and other integrated solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with business partners and team members.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Microsoft Access.
• SAP experience (MM, SD, PP, or other relevant modules) is a significant plus.
• Experience with data visualization or reporting tools is beneficial.
• Experience working in an office setting is a plus.
