Responsible for developing and overseeing programs that ensure the quality and compliance of field installations and service work, with a strong focus on preventing water damage and other workmanship-related issues. This role plays a key part in identifying risks, improving installation standards, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented consistently across all projects.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience); 5 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or risk management within construction, fire protection, plumbing, or mechanical trades; strong understanding of water-based systems, pressure testing, and common causes of water damage in construction environments; knowledge of NFPA standards, local codes, and industry best practices related to quality and safety.
Computer Skills
Proficiency Microsoft Office Applications, inspection reporting tools, project management systems.
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand, walk, and move around job sites for extended periods; occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crawl during inspections; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; and maintain visual acuity to read plans and perform detailed inspections. Work may occur indoors, outdoors, at heights, or in confined spaces. Use of required PPE and occasional travel to project sites is expected.

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to ensure installation and service work meet company standards, General Contractor and customer expectations.
- Conduct field inspections and audits to verify adherence to design specifications, codes, and quality workmanship requirements.
- Identify risk factors that may lead to water damage, leaks, or other quality deficiencies, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Review project documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure risk considerations are integrated into planning and execution.
- Investigate incidents of water damage or quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
- Train and coach field teams on proper installation methods, materials handling, testing procedures, and risk prevention best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and superintendents to resolve field quality concerns and implement process improvements.
- Track and report quality metrics, inspection results, and risk trends to senior leadership.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, findings, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
- Stay current with industry codes, standards, and emerging technologies related to system testing, materials, and water damage prevention.
