Century Fire Protection is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Service Helper to support our Service Technicians with the inspection, repair, and maintenance of wet and dry fire sprinkler systems. This entry-level role is a great opportunity to learn the fire protection industry and gain hands-on experience across commercial, residential, and industrial applications.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Assist Technicians with inspecting control valves for position, condition, and accessibility.
- Examine sprinkler heads for proper position, condition, and obstructions.
- Help inspect visible piping, hangers, drain valves, and gauges.
- Assist with water flow tests on sprinkler systems, fire pumps, standpipes, and hydrants.
- Support service, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Follow instructions, safety procedures, and applicable codes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 0–6 months of related experience or training.
- Construction, plumbing, or HVAC experience is highly preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop new skills.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Willingness to respond to emergency service calls, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
