You’ll be responsible for creating accurate and constructible layouts, hydraulic calculations, shop drawings, material specifications, submittals, and permit packages while ensuring designs meet NFPA standards, local codes, and project requirements.
You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and field teams throughout the design process. Candidates should be comfortable working with AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK, or other fire protection design software and have experience supporting commercial, industrial, or multi-family projects. Technical training or a related degree is preferred, and NICET Level II or III in Water-Based Systems Layout is a plus.
