SUMMARY

Responsible for providing beverage/food service to all golf course guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of guest services.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides prompt, efficient, accurate, and courteous beverage/food service to guests using the golf course in accordance with policies, procedures and standards.
2. Performs necessary tasks to service guests, i.e., taking and filling all beverage/food orders and assisting in maintaining work areas in a clean and neat manner.
3. Monitors guests’ needs on a continual basis ensuring all beverage/food requests will be promptly fulfilled.
4. Assists other beverage personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
5. Maintains professional grooming and appearance and acts as a role model according to established grooming and appearance policy.
6. Monitors guest alcohol consumption and responds accordingly.
7. Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
8. Helps refill beverage/food supplies at all service stations.
9. Requests identification from guests when legal age is in question.
10. Maintains thorough knowledge of casino food and beverage selections.
11. Stays current on department and property knowledge and promotions.
12. Follows all responsible alcohol service guidelines to help assist with guests’ responsible consumption.
13. All other duties as assigned.

REPORTING LINE

You will report directly to the Golf Pro/Pro Shop Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times. 
• The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner. 
• The ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations

• Proven experience providing high level of guest service
• The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide
• The ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English

• The availability to work all shifts.
• The ability to work in a fast–paced environment and stressful situations.
• Must be at least 18 years old. 
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• The ability to verify the right to work in the United States. 

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent.  One to two years related experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for prolonged periods of time. Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, sit, climb, balance, carry and lift to 25 lbs. Constant use of hearing, speech, vision (including distinguishing between shades of color), radios, and tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in outside weather conditions and regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat and cold.

Will be exposed to working in a moderate to noisy environment and seasonal elements.
