What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner & Bus Person Part Time Dayshift position at Century Casinos Inc?
FUNCTION:
Responsible for delivery of food/beverage orders and VIP amenities to guest hotel rooms. During breaks between deliveries, will assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and re-setting tables in the restaurant area, ensuring that the dining room is neat and organized. Assist food servers as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble and deliver food and beverage orders to guest hotel rooms timely and efficiently.
- Assemble and package to-go orders and deliver promptly to the host stand for guest pick up.
- Deliver VIP amenities to assigned hotel rooms.
- Greet and welcome guests within two minutes of their arrival serving water and non-alcoholic beverages, refill as appropriate.
- Communicate guests needs to server. Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Clear and sanitize tables, chairs, and cushions in a timely, quiet, and efficient manner.
- Set the dining tables in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Place all dishes, silverware, and glassware in the appropriate bus tubs.
- Clean floors and under guest tables, ensuring dining room floor is free from debris.
- Assist food servers by pre-bussing all glasses, plates, and silverware.
- Stock restaurant side stations and maintain par limits as directed.
- Consistently follow all sanitation policies and procedures
- Complete all shift side work as outlined in the Rosie’s operating policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.
- Using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond” as appropriate.
- Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
- Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
- Regular predictable attendance is required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 18 years of age or older

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.
Fine finger manipulation.
Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
