WAGE:                        DOE, $180 - $250 per shift (est 6-10 hour shifts paid between 18-25/hr. If shift is finished quicker than 10hrs, still receive full amount)

REPORTS TO:  Director of Operations & Drop Team Lead

SUMMARY

Collects, sorts, counts, wraps and distributes, as directed, of all coin or cash money from slot machines or other gaming revenue sources.  To perform responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Within the realm of responsibility of the job, maintains a clean and safe work environment.  Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, which include use of safety equipment.  Incumbents are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe conditions, as directed.
2. Collects, sorts, counts, wraps and distributes, as directed, large sums of coin or cash money accurately and promptly from slot machines or other gaming revenue sources.  Assures proper completion of all required paperwork.
3. Ensures that money transfers or re-impresses are performed as directed.
4. Sign or obtain proper authorization signatures for all transactions- including entering or exiting from secure areas, as required.  Uses only approved forms and in compliance with company policy and gaming regulations, which includes Slot Summary Sheet, Count/Wrap Variance, Coin Vault Ledger, Transfer Sheets, Cash Transfers, Even Money Exchanges, and Hopper Summary Sheets.
5. Operation and maintenance of coin counting and wrapping machines, as directed.
6. Provides technical direction, training and guidance to drop Team Members, as directed.
7. Performs responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
8. Develops and maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all GUESTS and STAFF MEMBERS.
9. Maintains an alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of casino operations at all times.  Keeps supervisor informed of any concerns.
10. Complies with established security policies and procedures.  Informs supervisor and/or Security Officer or Security Manager of any concerns.
11. Performs, when necessary, as a back up to Count Team lead/manager.
12. Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

1. Attendance: reports to work as scheduled, on time, and ready to work.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience receiving, securing, handling, counting and reconciling, and distributing large sums of money.  Demonstrated experience working as a member of a team of employees engaged in the performance of a routine and physically demanding work activity.  Demonstrated experience with bar code scanners and basic computer knowledge.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from High School.  One (1) or more years of recent and related experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.

REASONING ABILITY: No decision making is required beyond scope of essential duties.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: No additional skills are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion: frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks.  Essential duties require lifting from 60 to 100 pounds: and pushing, with Count team members, a money cart weighing over 1500 pounds.  Working any day of the week and any shift of the day.  Essential duties also require frequent use of multiple keys.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Essential duties involve working in an inside environment, which may become warm as a result of performing the physical demands of the work.

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Supply and storage equipment used includes dollies and carts for transporting money.  Equipment used includes coin/money counting machines, occasional use of power hand tools, safety equipment including steel-toe shoes, and ear plugs: and office equipment, including computers, photocopiers, calculators, staplers, tape, scanners and keys.
