What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chophouse Busperson Part Time Swing Shift position at Century Casinos Inc?
FUNCTION:
Responsible for clearing, sanitizing, and re-setting of tables, organization & neatness of dining room, and assisting Food Servers as needed in a professional and courteous manner. This position requires weekend and holiday availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clear the tables, chairs/cushions in an efficient and quiet manner within 5 minutes of guest departure.
- Set up the tables using clean silverware and chinaware in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Keep floors and under tables clean.
- Stock restaurant PAR limits inside stations and bussing area throughout entire shift.
- Greet and welcome guests within 2 minutes with bread, butter, and water.
- Assist food servers with pre-bussing and non-alcohol beverage refills.
- Must be considerate of co-workers and our restaurant guests.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Responsible for completion of all assigned side work and G.I. work.
- Must handle all Nugget chinaware, glassware and equipment in a careful manner avoid breakage.
- Keep soiled chinaware properly sorted in bus tubs, then bussed to the dishwasher and clean chinaware/silverware inspected then stocked to the service stations.
- Must be well groomed, in proper uniform and meet attendance/tardiness requirements.
- Must follow all sanitation procedures and policies.
- Using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond”.
- Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
- Always maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
- Regular predictable attendance is required.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Restaurant Operations Manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
EDUCATION LEVEL:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
LANGUAGE:
Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1-year previous bussing experience in a fine dining atmosphere preferred.

PHSYICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to walk, stand, or sit for long periods of time.
Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.
Fine finger manipulation.
Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
