Qualifications:Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing processes, care planning, and clinical assessment.
- Ability to perform comprehensive resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Skilled in medication administration, wound care, IV therapy (where permitted), and complex clinical interventions.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising CNAs, and other support staff.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care facilities, including standards established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives, infection control programs, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to resident-centered care, advocacy, and maintaining resident dignity and safety.
- Current CPR/BLS certification
