We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify financial integrity.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, BrokerWolf or similar platforms for data entry and financial management.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
Skills
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and governmental accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Experience with technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, tax compliance, or complex journal entries.
- Knowledge of payroll management systems like Paylocity.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy.
- Ability to analyze financial data for account analysis and budget comparisons.
- Strong math skills coupled with a solid grasp of financial concepts such as debits & credits, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- 7-10 year of related experience.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
