We are searching for our next great Data Integration Engineer. The Data Integration Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth setup and delivery of our organization's data integrations. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with data modeling experience as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration solutions for our organization. Your role will require a deep understanding of data integration techniques, data modeling, ETL tools, and data warehousing concepts.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data integration solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and databases.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain data models and database schemas to support data integration and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain data mapping documents and data dictionaries to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain scripts and queries to facilitate data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data integration processes and data architecture.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of data warehouses and databases.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new data integration tools and methodologies.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in data integration, ETL development, and database administration.
- Strong knowledge of data integration techniques, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SQL Server Integration service or Talend.
- Strong experience with SQL and database technologies, including data manipulation, querying, and reporting.
- Experience with cloud-based data integration solutions such as AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory.
- Experience working in development with ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server is a plus.
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
