Position Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care
Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols
Monitor patient conditions and report change appropriately
Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license | Compact (MSL) or Georgia (SL) | Must be active and valid
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or BLS | Must be active
Ability to obtain security clearance via the GADOC, this may include drug screen and criminal background check
