What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commerical Roofing Project Manager position at Centurion Selection?
I'm recruiting for two established commercial roofing contractors south of Boston, each adding a Project Manager. Same trade, same commuting area, two ways to grow:
- Project seat – run commercial roofing projects: new roofs, replacements and restorations for owners, general contractors and institutions.
- Service seat – run the service side: leak calls, repairs and maintenance programs for building owners and facility managers.
Both searches are confidential, and so is every conversation with me.
What you'll do
- Take work from estimate or quote through to closeout
- Visit sites, inspect roofs, scope the work and price it
- Plan crews, materials, equipment and schedules
- Be the main contact for general contractors, building owners and facility managers
- Keep budgets, change orders, safety and paperwork on track
What you'll bring
- Commercial roofing experience as a project manager, assistant PM, estimator or service manager, or a superintendent or foreman ready to step up
- Working knowledge of low-slope systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up) and sheet metal details
- Able to read drawings and specs and do takeoffs
- A valid driver's license – both seats get you out to sites across Greater Boston and the South Shore
- OSHA 10 or 30. A Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License, Procore or Bluebeam is a plus
- Union and open-shop backgrounds both welcome
Pay
- Service seat: $85,000 – $110,000 base
- Plus benefits – I'll take you through each package on our first call
Where
