SHIFTS: 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4 hours

Availability Requirements:

Days of the week:

• Available 4 days per week
• Must be available Saturday and Sunday
• Plus at least 2 additional weekdays

Hours- Days & Night shifts:

• Centurion Security operates 24/7, with both day and night shifts depending on business needs
• Day shift availability: Typically between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• Night shift availability: Typically between 5:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• Availability for night shifts and weekends is highly preferred and a major advantage.
• Additional flexibility and availability will provide more scheduling opportunities.

HOURS/ SCHEDULE:

• Position Type: Hours ranging from 24-40 hours that may vary based on site needs, scheduling, and available shifts.
• Weekly Hours: Officers will work 24–40 hours per week, with hours varying from week to week or month to month based on business needs.
• Additional Hours: Hours or opportunities for a full-time schedule may be available based on staffing needs and Officer shift availability but Full-time hours are not guaranteed.

Monthly Scheduling: Schedules are created on a monthly basis, and available shifts may vary each month based on staffing and site needs.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Must pass or qualify for FBI background screening
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be willing to obtain a Utah Unarmed Security License
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and outdoor conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert during shifts
• While employed by Centurion, officers may not simultaneously work for another security company

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and secure assigned properties and job sites
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols
• Control site access and verify credentials
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
• Complete clear and accurate incident reports
• Respond professionally to emergencies and incidents
• Maintain strong communication with supervisors, clients, and the public

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to stay calm under pressure

• Are you able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and construction zones, and remain on your feet walking/patrolling for shifts up to 12–14 hours?
• Are you able to accommodate shift times of ALL the following durations- 8, 9, 10, 12, and 14-hour shifts—as needed?

• Are you available to work weekends, and a minimum of two additional days per week?
• By law, a Security Officer must have a valid Security License issued by DOPL in the state of Utah. If not Already are you willing to complete the necessary steps and pay the necessary fees to become licensed at cost of around $150?
• This position typically offers between 24–40 hours per week, with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week depending on business needs, Officers availability, and the month. Full-time hours are not guaranteed. Are you able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week and remain flexible for additional hours when available?
