We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Washington State Prison in Davisboro, GA. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who value structure, teamwork, and consistent schedules in a secure clinical environment.

Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)

Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month

12-hour shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $41.00 – $46.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to incarcerated individuals within the appropriate scope of practice. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor, the RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, and deliver care addressing patients’ medical, mental health, and psychosocial needs, while adhering to infection control standards and facility protocols.
This role offers a predictable schedule, strong clinical support, and a defined scope of practice in a correctional healthcare setting.
Minimum Requirements

Associate’s degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one

Current CPR certification

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, including drug screening and criminal background check
