We are currently seeking full-time Psychologist-Pre Licensed to join our team at Atascadero State Hospital located near the beautiful central coast in Atascadero, California. ASH is able to provide supervision hours toward licensure.
Hourly Rate: $55.00 per hour medical, dental and vision benefits
M-F 8am-4:30pm - no Nights, no Weekends or Holidays
The Psychologist provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
Under the supervision of the Chief Psychologist and/or Senior Psychologist, Supervisor, applies psychological knowledge and techniques to the assessment, management, and treatment of mental disorders and developmental disabilities for judicially committed male adults; conduct various forms of group and individual therapy; complete psychological and behavioral evaluations; develop behavioral interventions; construct case formulations and progress notes; participate on a Treatment Team; evaluate clinical programs; provide training; and serve as consultants. Services are provided in accordance with generally accepted professional standards of care and as required by the hospital and DSH Psychology Manual
Qualifications
• Doctoral degree in Psychology
• Active California Psychology Associate Registration required
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where
