Centurion Health is the proud provider of comprehensive health care services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking full-time Primary Care Physicians to serve as Regional Site Medical Directors for correctional facilities located throughout the state of Missouri. These opportunities are located in the following regions:
- Central Missouri - Fulton, Jefferson City
- North Central Missouri - Boonville, Moberly, Tipton
- Northwest Missouri - Camron, Chillicothe, St. Joseph
- Southeast Missouri - Bonne Terre, Charleston, Farmington
Centurion of Missouri's Regional Site Medical Directors enjoy a hybrid schedule of 2 days on-site and 3 days working remotely.
The Regional Site Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of the assigned site(s). The Regional Site Medical Director also provides direct clinical services for patients and clinical supervision for medical staff of assigned site(s) under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Regional Site Medical Director will collaborate with Health Services Administrator at the site to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and will participate in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Active, unrestricted MO license
- MO BNDD
- Active, unrestricted DEA
- Must be able to pass background check, drug screening and credentialing
Available Shift
- Monday - Friday
- Day shift
- 2 days on-site
- 3 days remote
- NO CALL REQUIRED
