Mental Health Court Clinician (LICSW LCSW LMHC)

Salary: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 Depending on Experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

• Clinical screening of all Mental Health Court referrals using evidence based substance abuse assessment tools;
• Motivational interviewing and client centered treatment planning;
• Outreach and Referrals to treatment programs;
• Case management and regular contact with participants using evidence based approaches to support recovery and reduce recidivism in partnership with probation (who supervise court-ordered conditions) and other criminal justice personnel;
• Work collaboratively with community providers to obtain weekly reports of participant’s status;
• Provide weekly testimony to the court on participants’ status;
• Data collection and maintenance of Mental Health Court files;
• Organization of participant’s graduation, drug court meetings, and community presentations as requested.

• Current and active license in the state of Massachusetts: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC (other credentials may be considered)

• Demonstrate exceptional communication and writing skills
• Have experience working with individuals with mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders
• Be able to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team
