JOIN Centurion Health in our NEWEST PARTNERSHIP with Illinois Department of Corrections.
We are seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Illinois River Correctional Center located in Canton, Illinois, just 30 miles West of Peoria. This is medium security facility for adult males.
The Clinical Psychologist provides psychological leadership, consultation, and direct services for patients in an assigned facility. The Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients.
Canton, Illinois combines small-town charm with access to over 300 businesses, a top-tier school district, privately endowed public library and a cost of living that estimated to be 15% below the national average. The city sits amid beautiful natural spaces to include Emiquon National Wildlife Refuge, Banner Marsh along with 1,400 acres of parks and Canton Lake for boating and water spots.
Qualifications:
- Must hold PsyD or PhD from a US APA accredited university program.
- Must have successfully completed post-doc requirements.
- Licensed in Illinois as a Clinical Psychologist
- Supervisory experience required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Must be able to pass credentialing and background check.
- Prior locked unit experience is highly desired.
- Work legally in the United States without sponsorship.
Available Shift
- Full-time working five 8-hour shifts per week
- Day Shift
- No nights, holidays, weekends
Salary of $150,000 per year.
