Centurion, a leading provider of healthcare services for the Georgia Department of Corrections, is seeking an experienced Health Services Administrator (HSA) to oversee medical operations at Wilcox State Prison in Abbeville, GA.
About the Facility
Wilcox State Prison is a medium-security, adult male facility with a capacity of more than 1,800 beds. The facility houses medium-security general population inmates who may not be suitable for county facilities due to their offense or physical limitations and serves as a host site for specialized treatment programming. On-site services include primary medical care, chronic care management, mental health services, and other supportive programs delivered in collaboration with facility and custody leadership.
The Role
The HSA oversees all on-site healthcare operations, ensuring compliance, patient safety, and clinical excellence across medical, dental, and behavioral health services. You’ll manage staffing, budgets, and audits while partnering closely with the Warden’s office, GDC Health Services, and Centurion leadership to deliver efficient, compassionate care.

Qualifications
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospital or Health Care Administration, Health and Human Services, Business or Public Administration, Nursing, or related field

Progressive leadership experience in healthcare, nursing home, or mental health administration; nurse management; or multi-specialty clinical operations

Correctional healthcare experience preferred

Strong background in operations management, staffing, budgeting, compliance, and quality improvement

Skilled communicator—able to partner effectively with both clinical and custody staff

Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
