Centurion is proud to be a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and community mental health centers nationwide. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Director of Operational System Analyses and Proposals to join our team.

The Director of Operational Projects & Proposals is a strategic, results-driven leader responsible for overseeing high-priority initiatives that drive organizational growth, innovation, and operational excellence. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior operational leadership, translating vision into actionable proposals and plans and ensuring flawless execution across multiple, often cross-functional, projects.

Acting as both strategist and hands-on project leader, the Director will identify opportunities, define project scopes, allocate resources, and manage timelines to deliver measurable outcomes. They will champion best-in-class proposal development and deployment practices, foster collaboration across departments, and ensure that every initiative aligns with the organization’s mission, values, and long-term objectives.

This position requires exceptional analytical skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and a proven track record of delivering complex proposals and projects on time and within budget—while inspiring teams to achieve excellence.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Research funding opportunities and strategic operational partnerships to identify high-value prospects.
• Analyze project requirements, budgets, and timelines to develop persuasive, data-driven proposals.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical or complex concepts into clear, engaging narratives.
• Track proposal progress, submission deadlines, and post-submission follow-ups.
• Support special projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring milestones, and reporting on outcomes.
• Maintain a library of proposal templates, case studies, and success stories for future use.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program required. Master’s degree preferred
• Proven experience in proposal writing, grant writing, or business development/ advanced operational planning—ideally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Advanced Project Management experience is required
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Enterprise performance excellence experience
• Experience converting operational improvements into quantifiable benefits
• Experience in short-term and long-term planning, budgeting, and contracting
• Must be able to obtain security clearances to enter secure facilities
• Healthcare experience required
• Travel is required
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred
• Project Management certification preferred
• Lean certification preferred
• MBA or other business degree preferred
• CCHP certification preferred
