We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at GA Diagnostic Class Prison located in Jackson, GA.
Shift:
- Full-time | Day shift | 7:00 AM- 4:30 PM |Weekends possible
Rate:
- $17 - $22.00 an hour

The Certified Medical Assistant works under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, implementing orders for diagnostic lab test, and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Additionally responsibilities include recording EKGs, maintaining and cleaning medical equipment, and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs, as assigned.
- Current Georgia Medical Assistant license/certification
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience preferred, not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
