Duties
- Supervise daily production activities on the factory floor, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Coordinate and oversee assembly line processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts to support assembly tasks and material handling as needed
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and facilitate training to improve productivity and safety awareness
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, including mechanical systems and warehouse areas, to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports for tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations
Requirements
- Proven factory experience in a manufacturing environment with hands-on assembly line work
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely
- Strong warehouse experience including material handling, inventory management, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and factory safety standards
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high levels of motivation and morale
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Bi-lingual preferred, but not required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials safely, and perform manual tasks as required
