Job Summary:
Centuria Corporation is seeking an experienced, detail oriented, driven educational accreditor to provide subject matter expertise with the authorization and accreditation of the U.S. Army Armament Graduate School (AGS) at Picatinny Arsenal.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize for accreditation and authorization.
- Assist in the analysis of and support to accreditation and authorization.
- Be responsible for providing registrar related document for accreditation and submission to the Department of Education 60 days prior to accreditation submission. The contractor shall support site visitors and following up with information as needed to support the authorization process.
- Be responsible for providing registrar related documents for accreditation and submission 60 days prior to submission to the Middle States Commission on Higher education (MSCHE).
- Attend conferences or workshops led by the Middle States Commission on Higher Accreditation (MSCHE), the regional accrediting authority.
· Meet with MSCHE liaison and Department of Education liasons or officials to facilitate federal accreditation· Verifying that the AGS meets established standards;
- Protecting an institution against harmful internal and external pressure;
- Creating goals for self-improvement of weaker programs and stimulating a general raising of standards among educational institutions;
- Involving the faculty and staff comprehensively in institutional evaluation and planning;
- Establishing criteria for professional certification and licensure and for upgrading courses offering such preparation
