The Gas Utility Leadman plays a crucial role in supporting the installation and repair of gas lines, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This position is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, and supervising crew personnel on daily job tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating daily job tasks for crew personnel.
- Submit daily reports outlining daily job activities.
- Manage work sequences to meet customer schedules.
- Ensure compliance with industry and customer operating procedures while maintaining safety and quality.
- In the absence of the Foreman, step in to lead the crew to remain operational.
- Maintain Operator Qualifications.
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1 years of experience in the gas utility industry are necessary.
Work Environment
- The work site is outdoors, potentially in extreme weather conditions.
- All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; fluency in English is required.
- The job involves prolonged and repeated lifting (up to 50lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, feeling, crouching, and crawling.
