Registered Nurse- Telemetry (PRN)

Location: Jeffersonville, IN, 47130

Pay Rate: $40 - $45/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)

Shift: 06:45 PM – 07:15 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Unit on a PRN basis. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions. This position requires strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the telemetry unit in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and patient vital signs accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge care.
• Respond rapidly and appropriately to emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
• Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
