Duration: 09-week

Shift: 12-hour Night | 7:00 PM End: 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $432 - $540; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team for a night shift assignment in Elkins, WV. This 9-week contract offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a supportive medical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, etc.)
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of patients
• Report changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Follow infection control protocols and facility procedures
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during night hours
  
  

Requirements

• Active CNA certification in the state of West Virginia
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• At least 6 months of recent CNA experience
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
