Surgical Technologist-Operating Room
Location: Mammoth Lakes, California
Pay Rate: $40.00/hr $43.00/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Varied 12-hour day/evening shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a contract opportunity in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This role supports surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile supplies, assisting the surgical team, and performing scrub duties during procedures.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain a sterile surgical field
Inspect sterile items for contamination before opening
Prepare equipment, instruments, and supplies before procedures
Scrub surgical procedures and support surgeon-specific techniques
Assist with specialty surgeries, including sports medicine and trauma
Help document operative charges and hardware used during procedures
Collect specimens and cultures using proper identification procedures
Requirements
Active California credential/license as applicable required
High school diploma required
Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience required
Operating room or surgical technician training required
BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
Surgical Technologist certification preferred or certification eligible
Must be able to work varied day/evening shifts, on-call, and holiday coverage
