Location: Bozeman, Montana
Facility: Bozeman Deaconess Hospital
Contract: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $55 $60 per hour
$2,200.00/week - $2,400.00/week
Schedule: 10 12 Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
EMR: Epic
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to support operating room procedures at a Level III Trauma Center. The selected candidate will function as a scrub person and work closely with surgeons, registered nurses, sterile processing staff, and other members of the surgical team.

• Prepare case carts, instruments, supplies, and equipment according to preference cards.
• Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during invasive procedures.
• Coordinate instrumentation with the OR and sterile processing teams.
• Support surgical room turnover and scheduled or emergency cases.
• Perform First Assistant duties when assigned and qualified.
• Participate in call, weekend, and after-hours coverage as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent military training.
• Active Certified Surgical Technologist certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS.
• Acute-care operating room experience preferred.
• For First Assistant duties:
  • Certified Surgical First Assistant certification.
  • Associate degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent training.
  • Minimum three years of operating room experience.
• Must live at least 90 miles from the facility.

• The facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract because of low census or unforeseen circumstances.
• First Assistant hours are not guaranteed.
• A $5 differential applies only to hours worked as a First Assistant.
• On-call coverage may be required.
