Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic healthcare team for a 13-week contract assignment. As an SLP, you will work closely with residents in a well-established rehabilitation facility, providing therapeutic services to individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients who require expert care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide speech therapy to patients, helping them regain or improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Provide family education and counseling regarding speech and swallowing disorders.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, compassion, and professionalism in all patient interactions.
