Job SummaryThe Pediatric Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering professional nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with physician orders, hospital policies, and established standards of care. The RN will assess patient conditions, administer treatments, monitor responses, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of RN experience
Active and unrestricted RN License from any U.S. state
Current certifications required:
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
P-CAR certification to be completed within 6 months of hire
Holiday coverage required
Experience with Allscripts EMR preferred
Must meet all onboarding and credentialing requirements
Limited shared contractor housing may be available at approximately $600/month, subject to availability. Housing does not accommodate family members or pets.
