About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 13-week long-term care opportunity in Honokaa, Hawaii. This role supports skilled nursing and long-term care residents with medication administration, treatments, assessments, and daily care needs. Candidates must be flexible with varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and OT rotation as needed.
Responsibilities
• Administer medications and treatments according to resident care plans
• Assist with assessments, ADLs, skin treatments, and daily resident care needs
• Provide wound vac care, CPAP care, gastrostomy tube care, and nebulized treatments
• Document care accurately using EPIC
• Support resident safety, comfort, and quality care in a long-term care setting
Requirements
• active Hawaii LPN license required by start of assignment
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• minimum 1 year of LPN experience required
• long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception required before contract start
