Centro is a Latin Bistro located in Westchester Commons Shopping Center
We are a modern Pan Latin restaurant with influence from Mexico to Peru
An immediate opportunity exists for a culinary professional with the ability to maintain our high standards of quality and Hospitality. The purpose of this position is to uphold standards in kitchen operations of cooking, production, quality control and sanitation. Ideal candidate will have presence, sense of Hospitality, an understanding of administrative aspects of a kitchen, organizational skills, a passion for food and dedication for a very clean and quality controlled environment. The role will involve menu collaboration, inventory, and kitchen staff training. Hard working team players are a must.
· Key Responsibilities:
-2-3 years experience in a kitchen leadership role
-Developed knowledge of various culinary styles and mastery of all line level cooking stations.
-Capability to teach and mentor others
-A professional and polished approach to leadership in a busy atmosphere.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
