Position Overview:
As a Server at Centro Woodfired Pizzeria, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering an exceptional dining experience. Your passion for customer service, attention to detail, and knowledge of our menu will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your hospitality and ensure that each guest leaves with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly and inviting attitude, making them feel at home.
• Provide menus, take orders, and offer recommendations from our woodfired pizza selection and other offerings.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages, maintaining a high standard of service.
• Anticipate and address guest needs, responding to special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Offer a delightful dining experience by sharing your knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Suggest and upsell additional items, such as beverages, desserts, and appetizers.
• Handle payments and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the server station.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless coordination for a smooth dining experience.
• Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, seeking solutions and ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for providing top-tier customer service with a warm and engaging demeanor.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of previous serving experience in a dine-in restaurant setting.
• Must be over the age of 21.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace.
• Previous experience in a serving role, preferably within a dine-in, table side service oriented restaurant establishment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and handling payments.
• Knowledge of food and beverage, including wine and cocktail recommendations, is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Food Worker Card required
• Minimum of one year of previous serving experience
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• A Valid Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness Certificate completed prior to date of hire and first shift
