Production Materials Coordinator (Storekeeper)
Job Description
Location: Benson, Minnesota
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00
Hours: Full-Time | 1st Shift l 40 hours, Monday - Friday
What You Will Do:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate and fulfill production pick lists.
- Pull, scan, stage, and distribute materials for manufacturing.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with cycle counts, audits, and inventory discrepancy investigations.
- Communicate material shortages and expedite needs to purchasing, scheduling, and production teams.
- Process material transfers and returned inventory.
- Receive, store, and organize incoming materials.
- Follow FIFO (first-in, first-out) inventory practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area using 5S principles.
- Assist with material handling of products.
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, inventory control, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
