Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Associate Therapist based in Huntington Park, CA. The Associate Therapist will provide in office psychotherapy and counseling services to clients who have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, or other violent crimes. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy sessions, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires active collaboration with other team members to deliver high-quality and culturally sensitive mental health services.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in psychotherapy, counseling, and treatment planning.
- Experience in trauma-informed care and working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to provide accessible services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain thorough and accurate documentation.
- License (or licensure eligible) as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), or equivalent in California.
