The candidate is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of providing CenTrios customers with an ambient loop temperature ranging from 51 degrees to 71 degrees on a 24/7/365 basis. The OT will work at the Plant normally Monday through Friday and be on-call for any emergencies. The Monday through Friday schedule may change depending on activities at the plant with overtime hours as required to fulfill the needs of the plant.The OT will be a self-starter that can accommodate working in a fast-paced environment, strong commitment to deadlines and team, is process oriented with a high sense of ownership in their work, possesses a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and has a superior knowledge of operating this unique system.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform all duties as assigned - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment Sewer Heat Recovery System the distribution system and in building equipment as requiredEnsure new buildings can connect to the system and operate as requiredAssist in the assemble of weekly and monthly reportsWork with management and peers to Identify and scope out opportunities to maximize production, minimize operating costs and eliminate downtimeMaintain proper documentation, including operating logs, maintenance records and safety & environmental reportsKeep the OMM, DO and control room and other remote operators and peers fully informed of unusual plant conditions and current job progress as the job relates to facility operations when assigned on-shift and transitioning shift.Commitment to following all applicable company and client policies, procedures and work rules, and modeling appropriate actions and behaviorsParticipate in training on operating policies and proceduresIdentify and perform all the necessary tests on the system and insure and meet the contractual standardsWork in confined spaces, such as boilers, vaults, and work from ladders, scaffolds, catwalks, etc.Transferring chemicals into storage tanksMonitor the plant control system via computer screens and equipment gaugesPerform continuous improvements on the appearance of the plant facility including snow removal as needed.Additional duties include, but are not necessarily limited to: starting and stopping plant equipment as needed; diagnosing and correcting problems in equipment and auxiliaries; changing oil, lubricating bearings and filling station logs, receiving deliveriesImmediate ExpectationsDue to the nature of the system the below are immediate expectations for the Denver System:Assist in setting up the controls to work as needed to operate the system as energy efficient as possible,Understand what is needed for the building side reportingManage CMNComplete Delta V ReportingAssists in getting pricing for approval for: New Valves, Cleaning of the Heat Exchanger, reconfigure the Heat Exchanger and other tasks as may be requiredGet schedules and led times for above itemsSkills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDRequired Licensure/Certification: Universal EPA certification within 12 months of hire.Experience required operating and maintaining cooling or heating plant and equipment including pumping, piping, instrumentation, etc.Knowledge required of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systemsControls experience required to operate and regulate plant equipment/systems including boilers, chillers, heat exchangers, cooling towers, valves, actuators, sensors, transmitters, etc.Proficiency required with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointHighly analytical with attention to detail for problem-solving and troubleshootingStrong verbal and written communication skills requiredEffective collaboration and meeting coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders requiredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to work in tight spaces and elevated positions: twisting, turning, bending, and holding arms at / above the head are all common movements; able to lift up to 100lbs;Must be able to clearly see and differentiate all colorsMust be able to maintain standard threshold of hearing to safely perform job dutiesMust have good eyesight, hearing and manual dexterityWear all types of PPE including; hearing protection, eye protection, all types of hand protection, steel toe foot wear, head protection, wear fall-protection, half-face and full-face respiratorsShift:Days: Monday Friday, 8 hours per day. Shift times may vary to meet operational requirements.
