Job Summary

The Finance Associate will serve as a core member of the Corporate Finance team, delivering financial analysis and modeling to support budgeting, long-term strategic planning, liquidity management, and capital markets activity. The role includes supporting debt and equity financing, credit rating reviews, derivative transactions, and ongoing monitoring of financing and contractual obligations, while preparing high-impact materials for senior management, the board, and external stakeholders. This position operates with direct exposure to senior leadership and private equity sponsors and requires close coordination with accounting, operations, and business development to produce accurate, and decision-ready analysis. A successful candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with financial modeling skills, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a high-ownership environment.


This position offers a hybrid work structure, allowing flexibility to work remotely or from the office based on business needs. While remote work is an option, working from the office is encouraged for tasks requiring high collaboration or on-site completion. Office attendance can vary weekly, typically ranging from 3 to 4 days in any given week.


Core Responsibilities

  • Financial analysis (including financial modelling, sensitivity and scenario analysis)
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the Corporate Model and assist in managing the annual budget and long-term strategic model
  • Provide support in managing the financial contractual obligations of the Company and Concessionaire entities, including calculating and monitoring debt service coverage ratios
  • Prepare presentations to support our annual credit rating review
  • Provide materials to support debt and equity financing transactions
  • Support liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and working capital analysis
  • Read and analyze project financing documents and create and update cash and compliance models
  • Assist in executing derivative transactions.
  • Provide customer credit quality assessments for the Business Development team
  • Prepare presentations and materials for senior management, board meetings, and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with accounting, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial inputs
  • Serve as a key member of the Corporate Finance team, operating with direct exposure to senior leadership and private equity sponsors
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects in support of strategic and operational decisions

Professional Experience & Knowledge:

  • 2–5 years of experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, or similar finance roles.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build and maintain models (budget, forecast, DCF)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • Strong business judgment and the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and defend analyses
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and critically analyze key business issues and strategy
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt as priorities shift
  • Ability to interpret complex material and make decisions based on imperfect information


Technical Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong numeric skills, particularly advanced financial modelling and analysis
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Due diligence skills
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and time management skills
  • Proven ability to apply advanced analytical skills
  • Sound ability to identify and interpret Debt Agreements.

  • CenTrio’s Finance team
  • Other members of the external finance community (financial analysts, industry players, investment banks, managers, consultants, peer institutional investors)
  • Senior management of CenTrio’s equity sponsors
