What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Representative position at Centricity Credit Union?
POSITION PURPOSE
Member Services Representatives (MSR’s) play a vital role and are the face of the Credit Union. At Centricity Credit Union, your job is to make a positive impact on members and non-members by answering questions accurately and completing a wide variety of transactions which will meet their needs. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent the credit union to members and non-members in a courteous and professional manner
- Processes member’s transactions timely and accurately
- Balances at the end of the day with little to no errors
- Research teller errors when identified, respond and communicate appropriately
- Knowledge of Credit Union Products and Services
- Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed members expectations
- Identify sales opportunities to deepen member relationships by building rapport, uncovering needs, offering recommendations and submitting referrals to other departments of the Credit Union
- Adhere to Centricity Credit Unions Policies and Procedures
- Support Centricity Credit Unions commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by demonstrating the ability to work with a diverse range of individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Maintain member confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Certification:
High school graduate or equivalent
Experience Preferred:
Teller experience preferred but not required
A minimum of 6 months customer service and cash handling experience
