Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) - Hospice Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) - Hospice to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients, particularly seniors. This role involves assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) - Hospice Job Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to RN Case Manager.
- Perform patient observation to identify any changes in behavior or health status.
- Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) - Hospice Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical documentation practices is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and transferring patients when needed.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide in Oklahoma is required.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
