Pediatric Private Duty Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a team of highly skilled RNs and LPNs to support a 24-hour care plan for a medically fragile infant transitioning home from the hospital in the Grand Rapids Area. Born prematurely at 26 weeks, the client has Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD) and requires consistent Trach/Vent support.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a structured and dedicated military family. The home is lively, including two older children (ages 8 and 10) and a very friendly, free-roaming pitbull. We are looking for nurses who bring both clinical "A-game" and a warm, adaptable personality to the household.

Shift Schedule (24/7 Coverage Needed) 

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Days: Sunday through Saturday (Full-time and Part-time rotations available)

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care, etc.)
• Monitor and document vitals, symptoms, and changes in condition
• Assist with ADLs such as repositioning, hygiene, mobility, etc.
• Support patient well-being with compassionate and attentive care
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
• Experience in home health, private duty, or long-term care preferred
• Pediatric or adult care experience a plus (trach/vent knowledge helpful but not required)
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care

About the Role:

We have immediate needs for private duty nurses (RNs or LPNs) in the Grand Rapids area to provide home care to pediatric patients. Our pediatric population ranges in ages from birth to 21 years of age.

• Weekly Pay, $30.00-45.00 per hour.
• Create Your Own Schedule: Although this specific position is a day shift, in general, we never mandate shifts, giving you the flexibility to balance work and personal life.
