## Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to our patients and assist in creating a positive dental experience. ## Duties - Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform oral cancer screenings - Maintain and update patient dental records - Administer local anesthetics under the dentist's supervision - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment ## Requirements - Certification or Associate degree in Dental Hygiene - State licensure as a Dental Hygienist - Proficiency in Dentrix software preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation - Ability to take vital signs and maintain accurate medical records - Strong communication skills and attention to detail
