Job Description:
EDUCATION
- High school or equivalent.
- Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California.
EXPERIENCE
- Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- Practicing within the parameters of a Medical Assistant certificate for professional conduct.
- Competent Medical Assisting skills such as preparing patients for exam, document patient interactions, suture removal, restocking rooms and ordering supplies.
- Developed organizational and time management skills to meet office workflow.
- General knowledge and understanding of office equipment and computer applications, such as but not limited to: Fax Machine, Copier, Personal Computer, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
ABILITY TO
- Effectively communicate and interpret information, written and oral, clearly and concisely to patients and healthcare providers.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge, critical judgment/thinking and decision making skills and coordinate with Healthcare Providers for patient care and treatment as appropriate.
- Prioritize assignments within office policies and procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
- Multi task and work independently or in a team environment, with interruptions.
- Develop positive interpersonal relationships when interacting with patients, healthcare providers and team members.
- Identify, evaluate and resolve challenges through standardized office processes.
- Build collaborate relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
