Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with the intake process to ensure a seamless check-in experience
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
- Assist providers during examinations and surgical procedures, including setting up sterile fields and handling instruments
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting patient interactions, updating medical histories, and coding diagnoses using ICD codes
- Support medication administration under supervision when necessary and ensure proper documentation of all treatments
- Maintaining safety standards and proper equipment handling
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to plastic surgery and outpatient care.
- Proficiency in EHR systems for documentation, scheduling, and billing purposes
