House Supervisor
House Supervisors are accountable for care delivered in several clinical areas on a given assigned shift. House Supervisors advocate for and allocate available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe and compassionate care based on current standards of practice.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality nursing care delivery, regulatory compliance, and positive patient outcomes.
- Lead, coach, schedule, and support nursing staff while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and resolve concerns.
- Respond to emergencies, critical events, staffing challenges, and patient placement needs while providing clinical leadership.
- Drive operational excellence through strategic planning, problem-solving, quality improvement initiatives, and customer service standards.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Valid NYS RN License
- BLS, ACLS and/or PALS (can be obtained during orientation)
- BSN
- 2 years Leadership experience
Physical Requirements
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, lifting, carrying supplies and equipment.
- Onsite at Cayuga Medical Center - Ithaca, NY
- Less than 25% travel can be expected in this role
- Part Time Days
- Standard Rate of $47.52 - $57.85 plus benefits
- $15k Sign on Bonus!
