Job Summary
To obtain profitable sales of windows, doors, stairs, and related products for the company outside of our showrooms.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Sales
- Prospect for new contractor and homeowner customers using effective communication skills and product knowledge.
- Maintain good working relationship with new and established customers using continuous communication and following through on commitments with customers.
- Help coordinate production/ delivery of products to customers using effective communication skills with customers, inside sales, and shipping dept. & open order reports.
- Provide information to inside sales support staff in order to obtain accurate proposal for customer using blueprints and take offs.
- Negotiate with customers in order to obtain sale. Process orders for customers using order forms and effective interviewing techniques that leave customer with strong sense of satisfaction.
- Negotiate to increase product line penetration with existing customers using effective sales and communication techniques.
- Assist the customer service department by performing initial service inspection on product problems. Oversee follow-up on service needed.
- Assist the accounting department with collection of any overdue accounts using customer aging and information provided by accounting department.
- Attend seminars and meetings to improve skills in the area of sales, products and the company mission using techniques such as interviewing and role playing effectively.
- Assist with other sales functions as assigned using skills acquired to complete task at hand i.e. (trade shows, yard sales, open houses, etc.).

Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or Associates degree or equivalent years of business experience.
- 2-5 years of industry related millwork experience
- Ability to read blue prints, develop estimates, quotes.
- Knowledge of sales margins, mark ups.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to multi task and set priorities.
- Computer knowledge of PC’s, ponderosa software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
