POSITION PURPOSE
Under the general direction of the Branch Manager, this role provides excellent member service, performs teller functions, identifies cross-sell opportunities, and supports administrative needs in a manner consistent with the Credit Union's mission and philosophy.

- Central Willamette Credit Union will match your contributions dollar for dollar up to the first 3% of your gross salary, and 50% of the next 2% of your gross salary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cash Handling and Transactions – 35%
Process a variety of cash transactions, including accepting savings and loan payments, disbursing Line of Credit and Visa loan advances, and handling miscellaneous cash transactions. This includes balancing the cash drawer daily and assisting with the vault and cash recycler balances. Process ATM cash acceptance, night depository, and record end-of-day reports. -
Member Services and Account Maintenance – 20%
Provide routine information on Credit Union services and member accounts. Open and close accounts as needed, handle internal recurring transfers, stop payment requests, wire transfers, ACH forms, and additional share accounts. -
Cross-Selling and Member Education – 20%
Promote and educate members on Credit Union products and services. Meet targeted cross-sell goals per the incentive plan and guide members in selecting products to meet their needs. -
Operational Support – 15%
Complete daily branch operational tasks, including preparing checks for processing, ordering checks through the vendor, and handling month-end tasks as required. Open and close the department efficiently each day. -
Compliance and Training – 10%
Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations. Participate in required training and assist colleagues in understanding procedures and practices to ensure compliance with CW values and Information Protection requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic math with a high degree of accuracy.
- Good organizational and clerical skills; proficiency with PC applications and the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to maintain a professional image when interacting with members and colleagues.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment in decision-making.
- Proficient at handling large volumes of transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Goal-oriented, with a focus on exceeding established expectations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, handling member inquiries fairly and consistently.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 12 months prior experience in a teller role, financial institution, retail, or customer service position involving cash handling.

Salary $15.98-$19.97 per hour
